The graph gives information about the consumption of fast food in the UK from 1970 to 1990.
The graph illustrates the amount of three different categories of food that the people of the UK consumed from 1970 until 1990. From an
overall
perspective, it is readily apparent that hamburgers and Fish and chips became more popular
while
pizza has lost its consumers gradually throughout the years. 300 pieces of pizza were sold at the beginning of 1970
while
hamburgers and fish & chips have a significant distinction with only approximately 50 pieces. Unfortunately, as time went by, there was a decrease in the consumption of pizza
finally
reaching its lowest figure of 200 in 1985 until suddenly it continued to rise to 201 in number. The other two selected foods slowly increased with the same pattern but separated from their own progress in 1980. Since
then
, Fish & chips grew dramatically to 300 and reached its peak at 500.
On the other hand
, Hamburgers expanded slowly to 110 and eventually held below the number of 300 at 209.
