perspective, it is readily apparent that the number of homes, villages, and roads showed an upward trend, whereas
those in wood and farms declined during this
period.
To begin
with, there were 100 homes in 1780, which doubled in the following century. By the end of the period surveyed, this
number had increased to 500. This
growth also
paralleled the rise in the figures for village and road, which grew to 6 and 2, respectively, in 2000.
In comparison, the city had 4 farms at the beginning of the era, which decreased to 2 in 1860. By 2000, there was hardly any farm left; alternatively, there were various public facilities such
as schools, sports fields, and shops. In addition
