The diagram illustrates the process that is used to manufacture bricks for the building industry.
Contained in the diagram is information pertaining to the process of producing industrial
bricks
for building purposes.
Overall
, it is a fairly complex procedure, commencing with making primary
bricks
from
clay
to culminate with the complete products ready for distribution. The initial stage focuses on using
clay
to produce
bricks
. The process begins when
clay
is collected by using a machine digger.
Next,
it is moved to a metal grid in order to filter unnecessary substances before going to the roller.
Following
this
step,
clay
is mixed with sand and water to be solidified,
then
cut by either a wire cutter or a mould. Moving on to the subsequent stage of preparing the
bricks
for production. Once the
bricks
have been cut, they are moved to an oven and dried for 24 - 48 hours. The next steps involve transferring the
bricks
to a kiln to moderate their temperature between moderate (200 - 980°C) and high (870 – 1300°C), before being cooled in a chamber between 48 -72 hours. The whole process terminates when the
bricks
are packaged and ready to be delivered.
