The graph shows the population change between 1940 and 2000 in three different counties in the U.S. state of Oregon.
The present line graph illustrates the number of residents living in three different countries, namely Colombia,
Yamhill
, and
Washington
.
This
survey includes the years between 1940 and 2000. In general, throughout the entire period, the population of
Washington
remained the highest among the others. In 1940, the number of people living in
Washington
accounted for 75,000. And, in the following 30 years, we saw an upward trend. It reached approximately 125,000. During
this
period, the other two
also
rose the same percentage together. The populations of
Yamhill
and Colombia made up around 30,000 and 20,000 in 1940, respectively, but because of changes, both reached 35,000 and 45,000 in 1970, which is remarkable. Turning to the
last
30 years, the number of residents of
Washington
experienced dramatically high growth, from 125,000 to 250,000. Looking at Colombia and
Yamhill
, their populations
also
showed slow growth. The Columbian people justified 75,000,
while
the residents of
Yamhill
clarified 90,000 in the
last
year, 2000.
