Some believe that students should begin learning a language very early in school while others think these subjects should be taught later. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

Studies suggest that multilingual people excel at a much higher rate than those who are monolingual. Because of

, there has been pressure towards the education system to add in the curriculum language acquisition.
However
, it sparked a debate on whether it should be implemented earlier or later. In
this
 essay, I'm going to cite an argument on each side and my opinion on
this
 matter. There has been a number of research that shows the advantages of learning another
dialect
 at an early age
such
 as better intonation, enunciation, lexical resources and understanding. They have the ability to naturally converse with others and be more culturally adept. Not only that, children have much less responsibility, more cognitive adaptability and more time to be schooled without any distractions that older children may experience. Their natural curiosity and interest
also
 allow them to be better at absorbing the
dialect
 and naturally applying it
in

On the other hand
, many people believe that delaying language acquisition would be best,

 the fact that children need to have more brain maturity in order for them to cope with another

Nevertheless
, peer pressure, academic responsibilities and extracurricular activities increase as years go by and oftentimes compete with time dedicated to multilingual education. My opinion

 is to have a balanced approach in

 matter. A foundational literacy skill approach in the early years and mastery as they continue their academic journey. Through

, the task of learning another tongue would become less heavy and more manageable. As they say, "Art is a mastery of skill" and so is language acquisition.
