All in all, the chart shows upward trends in Malaysia and Indonesia, while
Thailand and the Philippines showed fluctuations. Malaysia stood out as having the highest number among the group, and these patterns will likely continue in the future.
In 1970, over a tenth of Indonesians and 30% of Malaysians lived in the cities. These numbers grew considerably until 2020, at approximately half and three-quarters of the populace, respectively. Furthermore
