The map below shows the changes that have taken place at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin between 2009 and 2014.
The map illustrates replacements made in the waterfront field of Darwin municipality in 2009 and 2014. Through the years of 2009 to 2014, the metropolis experienced structural changes in infrastructure that upgraded Darwin City by enlarging the usage of the industrial range. Starting with 2009, it is obvious that, the industrial operation was captured both in the north and south-central part of the map
while
reaching the total size of more than 60% of the waterfront. The busiest part of the space was on Northside, which gathered together a school, convention centre, fishing field, swimming pool,and lake. Another branch of the swimming pool was placed on the shore of the sea , meanwhile captivating residential building.
Due to
the number of changes that were made in between 5 years, the progress of urbanization shows more productive changes and makes the city lively. One of the main conversions was made in the University building , which was part of an industrial use only back at the time. In order to create more space for sailors in between the sea and swimming pool area divided by the newly built harbour. Despite all the replacements certain points stayed the same all the years till present.Those places were fishing areas, schools and conventional centres. Surprisingly,the residential field increased its existing 3 buildings turned into 6 separate buildings because of the enlargement.
