, butter consumption had decreased dramatically over the period, whereas
the low fat and reduced spreads increased rapidly in a short period. Margarine was the last
item which fluctuated throughout the years.
It can be seen that in 1981, butter was the highest amount just over 140 grams
before it went up to nearly 160 grams
in 1986. After 1986, the decreasing trend had started until it finished with around 50 grams
in 2007. Margarine was another item which had downward and upward from 90 grams
to 100 grams
then
it stayed constant between 1981 and 1996. After 1996, it declined to the lowest value with 40 grams
in 2007.
From 1996 to 2007, there was a huge rise from 10 grams
to around 85 grams
between 1996 and 2001. But there was a slight fall of around 15 grams
