You recently bought some train tickets for a journey a week in advance. When you went to the station to catch the train, you were told you could not use the tickets and the staff were very unhelpful to you. Write a letter to the train company. In your letter - describe the problem you had with the tickets - say why were unhappy with the staff - suggest what action the train company should take
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing a letter to inform you regarding the inconvenience caused to me as mentioned below.
My
tickets
were bought from a local company which is your authorized agent. They sold the tickets
for a trip to Zurich. It was already stamped by the Train company, however
, due to
the non-visibility of the barcode, the station staff
did not allow us to board the train.
I was really upset and requested senior staff
to understand the situation but they were not ready to listen to us. We requested them to call a local agent to verify the tickets
, but, the staff
did not even bother to hear and told us to bring new tickets
with visible barcodes.
In view of the above , I would like to inform you to develop a system where online tickets
can be considered. Nowadays, the print tickets
are outdated and no one uses them. Moreover
, some training is required for your senior staff
to deal nicely with customers as a part of good hospitality.
I am looking forward to hearing from you with proper resolutions.
Yours faithfully,
Rob John.Submitted by ahv on
