The diagram below shows how one type of coal is used to produce electricity. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram demonstrates the procedure of creating electricity by using coal.
Overall
, the process consists of eight stages, commencing with electricity distributed to housing estates and factories.
The production starts with the coal extraction from a mine. The collected amount then
undergoes a crushing step, in which the coal turns into smaller pieces and is transported by a truck to the gasifier. Concurrently, heat is provided in order to transform the coal into a gaseous form before entering the cooling process, whereas
the heat is released as waste.
The next stage following the cooled fume encounters the cleaning stop in order to remove external impurities. After which the cleaned gas is then
directed to the fume power plant, where heat waste is emitted as a part of the process. Ultimately, the final stage involves the distribution of electricity manufactured from the smoke power plant to the households and other factories.Unauthorized use and/or duplication of this material without express and written permission from this site’s author and/or owner is strictly prohibited.
