in England. The figures are measured in percentage.
Generally, it is evident that most English residents including males and females spent time
watching television whereas
the least preferred was seen playing online games on computers. Additionally
, it can also
be observed that a majority of men would rather do other amusing activities in their free time
with the exception of going shopping.
Commencing with activities pertaining to electronic devices, it is apparent that both genders shared similarities in watching TV and using computers for gaming with approximately three quarters and 10% to 12.5% respectively. Furthermore
, there is a significant gap between the rates of using the Internet, which was nearly 75% for men and this
figure was twice times higher than their counterparts.
Moving onto the remaining statistics, it can be seen that males doing sporting exercises and reading books illustrated higher percentages than the females while
the opposite was seen in family gatherings and shopping. Particularly, males utilized their break to enhance their fitness and read books to unwind more than their counterparts with about 75% and slightly lower in the same order. Additionally
, women tend to spend time
with their families with more than 75% of them and the same goes for shopping, which doubled
