overall
perspective, most transportation experienced an upward pattern in the ratio, the opposite was true for aircraft. It was noticed that rail had the highest rate
at the end
of the timescale despite being below car and air. Taking a closer look at the percentage of car transport which commenced with a high of below 50% before significantly rising up to 62% in 1999.
This
was followed by a sharp decrease to around 51% over the next 10 years. Meanwhile, in the first recorded data, rail indicated about 34%
then
