Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words
The graph chart displays the proportion of families in ownership or rental of housing in the United Kingdom from 1918 to 2011.
Overall

. The other significant feature of

graph is at certain years the private and public housing was similar in proportion.

in 1918 more wanted to rent a
property
than to buy it,
such
as more than 75% of families were living in rented
houses
in Britain and only around 23% of families had their own

. For almost 14 years the proportion was similar to previous years, and in 1971 half population had their own
property
and the rest of them lived in hired
houses
. 10% more
people
purchased
houses
and 10% less
people
hired spaces in 1981.
After
this
time period, the graph started to increase for owned accommodation and decreased for the rented ones. In 2011, British
people
again started to rent a
property
more.
