The manager promised to contact you regarding compensation but you still haven't heard from him. Write a letter to the hotel. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to complain about the inconvenience caused during my stay at your hotel. The Manager promised to revert to my complaint and would pay suitable

but I haven't received anything yet. I stayed in your hotel during my vacation between 4-6 July in room number 216.

room was near the central heating unit. Because of the fault in the system, it created a lot of noise and we were not able to sleep during the night.
