Stokeford used to be a quiet agricultural town, it has undergone a significant transformation to become a heavily residential area with many new developments.
If we look at the developments north-western of the town, it can be seen that the shops were knocked down to make way for new houses, and the primary school just opposite this
area expanded. Moreover
, the farmland in the northeastern part of the chart was replaced by a new place of residence. In the centre itself, the area where gardens and large houses were located in 1930, the latter got edged and was transformed into a retirement home in 2010. Furthermore
