The pie charts illustrate the percentage of gadgets used to watch television by young generations from 18 to 25 years old in Canada in 2009 and 2019. The main difference that could be seen was conventional TV
usage
as it drastically reduced from 34% to only 4% in 2009.
This
showed that it used to be the highest amount of
usage
for television in 2009 and became the lowest
usage
in 2019. Other than that, the use of tablets and flat-screen TVs had a major rise of about 14% to 19% from 2009 to 2019.
On the other hand
, a minor increase was seen in mobile phones as it was only 9%.
Thus
, the
usage
of desktop computers and laptops had a slight decrease as the percentage fell by 6% to 8%.
To conclude
, the
usage
of conventional TV decreased in popularity over these years as flat-screen TVs and tablets were growing in quantity for television purposes.
