Below are two charts showing the top 12 nations in military spending for 2005 and those countries' GDP growth for the same year. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

. Other Asian nations

 rates than the Western European countries. The United States dominated military spending in 2005, with an expenditure of $400

 each. The U.K., France and Japan occupied the third highest position ($50
