The line chart below illustrates the amount of main fuels the United Kingdom has produced from 1981 till 2000. First of all, the chart shows the fact that the creation of Petroleum was at a higher level compared to Natural gas and Coal by being more than 80
units
in 1981. Petroleum
production
increased and reached 140
units
in 1986
then
had a dramatic decrease and reached 100
units
in the year 1991, thankfully soon after the
production
levels went up and by 2000 it reached 140
units
again. The chart
also
indicates that both Petroleum and coal faced a sudden decrease at some point between 1981 to 2000
while
Natural gas never faced a remarkable decline.
On the other hand
, the
production
of Natural gas was stable and about 40
units
in 1991 when the demand for
this
fuel went high significantly and reached 100
units
.
However
, that was not the case for Coal
production
and from 80
units
in 1981 falls down to less than 40
units
in the year 2000.
