Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps show how a
village
called Ryemouth has evolved from 1995 till the modern day. There have been industrial and residential changes, the most noticeable being an increase in amenities in
this
area. In 1995, to the east of the
village
, there was a green zone featuring farmland and a forest park. Next to
this
was housing on both sides of the road located in the north-west of the map. Generally speaking, a lot of recreational facilities were situated mostly in the south of the
village
.
For instance
, the seaside was the hotspot for residents as it included a place to go shopping and to eat.
Moreover
, the fishing port was constructed there with the fish market nearby. Turning to the present-day chart, it can be seen that the green area is reduced and converted into a sports area with a golf course and tennis courts for the local residents to have quality time. A
further
noticeable change is the development of the car park on the right side of the hotel so the visitors can travel there by car. The eating spot of the
village
is enlarged by developing a restaurant there.
Although
the old houses remain, their number significantly increased
as well as
the new apartments in the south-west of the plan are developed so the
village
has more residential buildings today.
To sum up
, the
village
of Ryemouth has seen some dramatic developments between 1995 and the present with the number of houses and recreational facilities rising during the period.
