The graph shows relative price changes for fresh fruits and vegetables, sugars and sweets, and carbonated drinks between 1978 and 2009.
The line chart gives information on the changes in price for four different
groups
from 1978 to 2009. Overall
, it is clearly shown that all groups
experienced a rise trend
moderately except the fresh fruit and vegetables had a growth sharply.
As can be seen, all categorized things have had the same starting point, at about 60 in 1979. All of them continued the same rise trend
till 1985, approximately 100. Then
the fresh fruit and vegetables witnessed a sharp increase in the given period and reached the figure of nearly 330.
The rest of the groups
, sugar and sweets, the consumer-price index, and carbonated drinks increased in a constant trend
with different figures. First of all, the carbonated drinks achieved the lowest growth, at about 150 at the end
of the period. The sugar and sweets had the same trend
but a little difference in the figure, at 200, in fact, recorded the second place among all of the groups
. After that, the consumer-price index reached 210 in 2009 and placed in third place.Submitted by s_karimi2002 on
