The given diagram depicts information about the European health budget as a percentage of GDP for different countries in Europe in the years 2002,2007 and 2012. As can be seen, the largest ratio belongs to Switzerland, and the least goes to Estonia. What is noticeable is that the numbers remained unchanging for several countries during
this
period of time.
Although
Switzerland had the highest proportion which was about 11% in 2002,
this
amount stabilized for the following years.
In addition
, Spain, Estonia and Belgium
also
had the same trend throughout these years. The numbers were 8% for Spain, 3% for Estonia, and 10% for Belgium. Compared to the states mentioned, some others illustrated an increasing pattern. Slovenia, Poland, Norway, Lithuania, and Denmark experienced a stable number in 2002 and 2007,
then
it grew by 1% for Slovenia and Poland, and 2% for the others in 2012.
On the other hand
, the Netherlands and Luxembourg had undergone a decline. The Netherlands came down to 8% in 2012, from the baseline of 10%, and Luxembourg dropped to 7% from the level of 8%.At
last
, France is the only country that had a fluctuating current, growing 1% from the base of 10% in 2002, and falling to the number of 9% in 2012.
To sum up
, most of the European nations showed either a steady or an escalating inclination in terms of health expenditure.
On the contrary
, a minority of them faced a decrease
overall
.
