The table given shows the different sources of income, in 2017 and 2018, in millions of pounds, of police budget in a particular area of Britain,
while
the two pie charts illustrate the proportion of expenditures on three different categories in the same two years.

According to
the table, the total police budget increased from £304.7m in 2017 to £318.6m in 2018. Most of the funds came from the national government which had an increment from  £175.5m in 2017 to £177.8m in 2018. In 2017, £91.2m funds were sourced from local taxes, which went up to £102.3m in the year 2018,
whereas
the money from other sources (eg grants) contributed £38m in 2017 to the total budget and £.5m more in the next year.
On the other hand
, the proportion of total expenditures on salaries decreased from 75% to 69%, from 2017 to 2018, but spending on technology almost doubled from 8% to 14%. The funds spent on buildings and transport remained the same at 17%.
