The map illustrates the transformation of a city layout, namely Stockford, in the year 1986 and the current time. In 1986, there were farmlands in both the northwest and the southeast areas, which had been demolished and converted into housing estates. The post office, located in the northwest remains unchanged, but the shops nearby have been removed and have been replaced by housing estates to support the population growth. The primary school, located roughly in the middle, has expanded new buildings on the left and right sides of the main building. Below, the primary school, there used to be a garden with a mansion, which later was redeveloped into a pension house. In the south area, the farmland is replaced by residential areas. Meanwhile, the post office and the bridge remain untouched. In conclusion, the city has experienced a drastic change, which mainly focuses on building residences to provide more living accommodations.
