The graph illustrates the high processed food consumption among teenagers from Australia from the year 1975 until the year 2000.
It is clear that
the popularity of pizza and hamburgers increased
on the contrary
to fish and chips. The most significant growth in the fast food demand is caused by hamburgers. Within 25 years, it boosted its purchasing power around 10 times. It started with rapid growth for the first 10 years.
Next,
it slightly slowed down;
however
, unchangeably attracted more and more customers. Another improving product was the pizza, which experienced a fast increase until 1995 and stayed stable until 2000. The sharpest line is shown by fish and chips that after going sharply down and up each 5 years at the very beginning, they decreased tremendously for the rest of the researched period.
