The line graph shows the number of books that were borrowed in four different months in 2014 from four village libraries, and the pie chart shows the percentage of books, by type, that were borrowed over this time.
The provided line graph gives data on the
number
of
books
that were lent by 4 particular village libraries in June, July, August and September in 2014,
while
the pie chart illustrates the percentage of
books
and their types, borrowed throughout these months. In brief, it is evident that in Ryeslip the
number
of borrowed
books
was lowering month by month, compared to Weat Eaton and Church Mount where these numbers were rising. The pie chart shows that residents of these 4 villages were mostly interested in fiction, but self-help
books
were the least popular. The line graph shows that the
number
of
books
borrowed in Ryeslip fell from 300 in June to approximately 175 in August. A different pattern occurred in Church Mount where the
number
of literature borrowed by its residents increased from 50 to 150, the statistic of which coincides with West Eaton village and showed approximately the same tendency and numbers. When it comes to the pie chart, 43% of borrowed
books
were fiction category,
whereas
only 10% of lent
books
over 4 months were about self-help.
Additionally
, the percentage of scientific and historical
books
borrowed in these 4 villages, was even and equaled 14% each.
