Following the advancement of humanity, urban infrastructure isn't to be excluded, therefore leading to the practice of taking down old-age buildings and replacing them with modern ones. As I think, the drawbacks which this approach brings can't be compared to its advantages.

As the site of burgeoning new residential areas is becoming more and more common, there is inherently emerging a host of dilemmas, the most thorny of which is town planning.
