The line graph and pie chart give information about the relationship between age and crime
as well as
the types of crimes in the UK in the last
year.
Overall
, the line graph illustrates that the frequencies of committing crimes were found more in the young communities compared to the aged ones. There were four types of illegal acts including violent misconduct, property, drug, and public order crime. Among these violent acts were the most common whereas
the levels of property and drug violence were close to each other.
From the first figure, it is clear that
the utmost offence was done by the population aged from 12 to 24, especially eighty thousand people of age 20 who were the highest number who involved themselves in committing misdeed. The rate of infringement was in a decreasing trend while
the age was increasing with the X-axis. Additionally
, in the pie chart, 46 per cent
of unlawful acts were done by violation whereas
only 9 per cent
of people were involved in public order crimes. Since the rates were 22 per cent
and 23 per cent
