The map above illustrates the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket has been planned to be constructed and there are two different
places
where it may be constructed. These places
have been shown by S1 and S2. One of the possible places
which is S1 is located in the countryside. Even though it is in the countryside which may be far for the residents of Garlsdon, it is 12 km from the Hindson Town which has a population of 10 thousand people
. This
would allow people
from both towns to utilize this
convenience store. Also
, it is between one of the main roads and the railway. This
could possibly allow people
on the road and people
using the railway to shop at the store. Another place the store can go is shown by S2. This
area is at
the centre of the town. Surrounded by housing, industry, main roads and the railway. The fact that it is close to housing would allow Change preposition
in
people
near to come easily and shop. In contrast
, there is one disadvantage of this
place, and it is the fact that it is located in a no-traffic zone. This
means that no cars are allowed which would result in no big hauls in stores as it would be really hard to carry lots of groceries. To sum up
, there are two possible places
where the market can go. Both areas have their advantages and disadvantages.Submitted by nillaragulcelik on
