illness took up the highest percentage compared to other causes of not going to work in the three stated years and stress was the least among all

report of absenteeism in a particular EU state, being sick comprised about 44% in 2000 and it dwindled to 35% in 2010.

not close, family responsibilities came second as to why these presented EU citizens did not go to work and

declined from 27% in 2000 to 25% till the end.
