is a natural process which has four stages and lasts for more than six months. In the first phase, the egg stage, the process starts with the mating of male and female butterflies which later produces eggs. The parents lay the eggs on a milkweed plant. After two weeks, the eggs will hatch into larvae. Later on, these larvas will grow into caterpillars and go into the larval stage. Closing into the transformation phase, the caterpillars will isolate and attach themselves to the plant and become chrysalis. Ten days forward, entering the pupal phase, the caterpillars will have transformed into adulthood and come out of the cocoons as butterflies.
