You have had a problem with your next-door neighbour. You have not been able to speak to your neighbour about this. Write a letter to this neighbour. In your letter • Explain the problem • Suggest a solution • Say what action you will take if the situation does not improve
Dear Tim,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m your next-door neighbour at number 14, and I’m writing to you regarding a problem that has recently arisen.
I am writing to you about the friends you’ve been inviting over to your house. They have been parking their cars in front of my house for five consecutive days. Your friends often park in front of my driveway, which blocks my car and the road.
I don’t mind it if it doesn’t happen too often, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s difficult for me to leave my house to go to classes. I’ve tried asking them to park somewhere else, but so far, they’ve ignored my request.
I don’t mean to interfere in your personal matters, but I would really appreciate it if you could kindly ask your friends to park somewhere
that is
more convenient and accessible for everyone. If the situation continues, I may need to contact the local authorities or police to resolve the issue
I hope you understand my situation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
