In many societies gap years are common for young people who finished school and will engage in tertiary courses. While many argue that a break between educational engagements is valuable for teenagers to reflect on future careers and work, some believe this is a waste of time. In my view, take some time off before going to university can be beneficial for those who need a break from study pressures and to figure out what they want to do for their lives.

In recent times, there have been many languages disappearing as a result of globalisation. I contend that having fewer languages in the world benefits people contrary to popular belief in relation to effective communication and broadening human connections internationally.

Nowadays migration is very common, every day thousands of people cross borders in order to find a better quality of life. In addition, developed nations usually hire people from poorer ones, causing problems in those states who are in need of skilful employees. Consequently, there is a heated debate about whether this should happen or not.

If an individual acts in an anti-social way, such as committing the crime, who is to be blamed, society or the individual? what are the causes behind such behaviour? who should be responsible for this
Knowledge of right and wrong makes it easy for every individual to choose what path to trade on. Society should take a share in the blame but a person who commits a crime should take the major blame. Although there are various factors leading to crime which range from person-influenced to society-induced, the individuals involved should face the consequences for their actions.

Many individuals currently believe that keeping law offenders captived is not the most efficient way to cope with them but in lieu of that, the utilization of education and occupation training are the preferred solutions. The writer of this essay argues that it is reasonable and must be done because jail is not going to provide them with the necessary conditions to rethink their sins and upon being released they will not have the required qualifications to adapt.
