Since old times, history has witnessed many battles and wars, often led by male leaders. Because of this, there is a view that if women were chosen as leaders, it would help the world become better administered and harmonious. I totally disagree with this view, since I think conflicts and violence should not be linked to a particular gender and moving to women alone will not make the world a better place to live.
Every year, many volunteers attend universities to study humanitarian fields like history and philosophy. Some people argue that getting a degree in such fields could not benefit future careers. I agree to some extent with this notion. While there are a lot of benefits to studying these subjects, in some cases, it may not be helpful for people’s occupations in the future.
Nowadays many families do not take care of their parents in their old age, rather put them in nursing homes or care homes. This circumstance can be beneficial because they are taken care of by professional persons and they can find a community with the same age and experiences. On the other hand, it has drawbacks because they get less care for their loved ones and live separated from their own families.
Taking risks can be perceived as an important action in people’s lives, both in professional and personal aspects. In my opinion, I contend that facing risks can bring more benefits because it can shape people’s personalities, leading to better futures, which will outweigh the drawbacks.
