organization
Make each paragraph deal with one main idea only. Start with who you are and why you apply, then one paragraph on past work, then a paragraph on why you want this job, then close nicely.
language
Some sentences are long and hard to read. Use short, clear lines. Check grammar and make simple, direct statements.
content
Mention how your work helps the company and give a bit more proof of skill, such as a simple result from a past sale.
tone
Keep a formal tone, but stay simple. Do not use words that are too big.
structure
You start with Dear Hiring Manager and you end with Yours sincerely.
content
You show you are free for two months and you have experience in sales.
Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
