Although some people are of the opinion that the government should take high taxes to develop social services, there are other individuals who believe that this policy is not logical. As far as I am concerned high rate of tax does not guarantee a progressing community.

The higher authorities believe that the most significant goal is to make the economy higher, which helps to build the living standard of people living there, while another group of persons have a view that the progress of other things in the nation is equally valuable. I strongly suggest that everything should be improved in the country, like hospitals, schools and the transportation system, rather than just improving the economic level. Both points will be discussed in the following paragraphs.

Governments start allocating most of their money to subjects associated with science due to the fact that they reckon, it can promote the enhancement of the effectiveness of the country. However, I completely disagree with this statement, despite the importance of an investment in this field. Because other subjects require as much attention as science.

In Britain, when someone gets old, they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
In Britain, the elderly are looked after by caregivers in old people’s homes, which at times is paid for by the state. I believe that the state should pay for this type of assistance because of the contribution that old people have made to their society and because most families could not cope with the financial burden.
