"Prevention is better than cure". Researching and treating diseases is too costly. So it would be better to invest in preventive measure To what extent do you agree?

It is often said that taking precautionary measures in dealing with diseases is a better approach than getting treatment after contracting one. Although this adage may be true, not all diseases can be prevented and therefore require treatment in order to be cured. This essay disagrees with this statement and will discuss why sometimes diseases cannot be prevented and hence research is necessary to cure them.

Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g. 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. In today’s mod world, a set of predefined rules & regulations cannot be implemented in all scenarios. This is also true in case of set retirement age of 65 years for all. Thus, I strongly believed that the retirement age should vary according to the job profile.

Some of are the opinion that high school students should have free community services as a mandatory program in their curriculum. In my opinion, community services play a very important part in the development of the children as individuals as well as a team. However, education should be the top priority and any activity hindering it should not be practised upon them.

In the recent times there are various global concerns across the world. With the drastic expansion of humans' residential areas came extensive efforts towards deforestation all around the globe. Due to this a negative impact on the environment in the shape of global warming can be seen. To tackle this issue, some concrete steps such as implementation of global legislation against it along with monetary incentives in favour of pro plantation could be taken.

With the advancement of high-tech media, some people hold that the public libraries would be rendered obsolete if they do not offer software, videos or DVDs to their users while the other assert it’s only a waste of limited resources and the libraries should offer books only.

Improving the level of health of the general population is becoming increasingly necessary and there are different perspectives on how to achieve this. While some are of the view that it is best done by adding to the number of sports facilities, other people believe, which I agree, that there are other important factors that should be considered and these would be discussed below.
