Travelling in space has become feasible for a while now and there is a growing speculation that space tourism will be more popular in the future. In my opinion, this development will have positive impacts on our lives.

It is argued that, training for bringing up kids is necessary for those who are getting into the parenthood newly. I completely agree with this point of view and the reasons for my agreement are discussed in the following paragraphs.

There is no doubt that the modern lifestyle has brought several changes in our life, whether positive or negative. It is considered by some that there is a detrimental effect on families due to the fast pace and burdens of modern life. I strongly agree with this notion and I will elaborate on the reasons below.

People have differing views with regard to the question of whether shared freely information in scientific research, business and the academic or not. In my opinion, I completely believe that each method could have pros and cons. This essay would discuss and give some examples to reinforce my view.

Social networking sites, for instance Facebook, are thought by some to have had a detrimental effect on individual people as well as society and local communities. However, in my opinion, while I believe that such sites are mainly beneficial to the individual, I agree that they have had a damaging effect on local communities.

When they finish school, teenagers face the dilemma of whether to get a job or continue their education. While there are some benefits to getting a job straight after school, I would argue that it is better to go to college or university.

Nowadays, some individuals are of the opinion that issues related to traffic and means of commuting can be tackled through relocation of residents from the countryside to towns. In this essay, I will clarify why I disagree with this trend.

Some individuals argue that the heightened price of petrol is the most effective method of tackling the problems pertaining to increasing traffic and environmental contamination. While I accept that this measure is good in some ways, I believe that there are better measures for this problem.

People have different views about how much choice students should have with regard to what they can study at university. While some argue that it would be better for students TO BE FORCED INTO CERTAIN KEY SUBJECT AREAS. I believe that everyone should be able to study the course of their choice.

Professional workers like doctors, nurses and teachers make a greater contribution to society and so should be paid more than sports and entertainment personalities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Opinions differ as to whether highly-intelligent workers such as doctors, nurses and teachers should be paid more money than athletes and celebrities whose jobs involve less extensive knowledge. In my opinion, I disagree with this statement as I think that both sides should be equally paid.

Some people think that drug addicts should be treated like criminals and sent to jail, while others believe that they should be treated like patients and sent to hospital. Discuss both views and give your opinion?

Some would argue that people who are addicted to drugs should go to jail because they have broken the law, while others say that they are sick and should be taken care of in hospital. While sentencing them to a term in prison is the quick and easy solution, I believe that it is better to be compassionate and help them get better in hospital.

Nowadays, some children spend many hours every day using smartphones and other devices. The advantages of allowing children to own these devices outweigh the disadvantages? To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is a fact that in recent years, some children spend a huge amount of time per day on using smartphones or other intelligent devices such as laptops. This trend will introduce both pros and cons, but I am in an agreement that the benefits do outweigh the drawbacks.

Caring for children is probably the most important job in any society. Because of this, all mothers and fathers should be required to take a course that prepares them to be good parents. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

It is true that parents shoulder a huge responsibility and that raising children is by no means an easy task. However, I completely disagree with the idea that we should therefore force all mothers and fathers to attend parenting courses.

Technology is developing at an unstoppable speed which shows in the number and style of items such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, iPads.... There are many people said that new new inventions are threatening our traditions all over the world. However, the concern is whether new products related can help maintain our beloved traditions in any way.

It is argued that there should be a maximum wage limit on extremely high earners; others, however, believe that people should have the freedom to earn as much as they can. I agree with the second viewpoint

The idea that, besides making money, enterprises also need to have public responsibilities remains a source of controversy. In my opinion, while generating profit is the top priority for each company, I agree thatthey should also conduct their business in a socially responsible manner.

It is common nowadays to hear people decrying the number of choices people have relative to the past and proclaiming the drawbacks of so many easily-available options in a variety of areas of life. While I think that there is some truth in this, increased choice is ultimately a positive trend because it opens up options outside the mainstream.
