It is considered by sone that incarceration is prime motive of penalizing, whereas others say, to reintegrate criminals back into society has a major role to play. I think it should depend on the nature of the crime being committed.

Though the fee structure of the university is high, there is no guarantee for undergraduates to get good workplace after passing out and this led to the bad influence on extra curriculum subjects and because of it some people think a university should only teach subjects, which are useful to get a job.
