Some people say that in all levels of education, from primary school to universities, too much time is spent on learning facts and not enough on learning practical skills. Do you agree or disagree?

In the modern era, keep balance on learning between theoretical lesson and practical lesson has become a controversial issue. It is often said that too much attention are paid for learning root terms rather than soft skills at all tertiary educational institutes. However, I certainly agree that this happens up to secondary level, although it has less seen on university curriculum.

SCIENCE ADVANCED SO MUCH THAT IT CAN NOW MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE TO LIVE 100 YEARS OR EVEN 200 YEARS. SOME PEOPLE THINK ITS A GOOD THING, WHILE OTHERS THINK IT IS BAD… DISCUSS BOTH THESE VIEWS AND WRITE YOUR OPINION.

In the recent times, science and technology has developed to such an extent that it is now possible to even increase a people's life span by using advanced medical facilities. It is thought by some people that this development is good for mankind, however others believe that this has a negative impact on humans. In my opinion, science has made people's life easier as compared with older days, so it is certainly a good development, but few anti-social elements may use it to harm society so in such cases technology has proven dangerous too.

In the modern world, schools are no longer necessary because there is so much information available through internet, that they can just as well study at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that nowadays people could just receive mass information on the internet , thus affecting conventional schools to be not as crucial as ever. Nevertheless, some still believe that the classroom and teacher’s role cannot be changed to educate students.

Some children receive almost no encouragement from their parents regarding their performance in school, while other children receive too much pressure from their over-enthusiastic parents which can have a negative impact on a child. PROMPT: Why do you think some parents put too much pressure on their children to perform well in school? What do you think the role of a parent should be in their child’s education?

It is often argued that school children are not obtaining feedbacks from their mother and father about their educational process at a learning institution, while other offsprings receive a lot of stress which has a detrimental impact on them. In my opinion, parental guidance and supervision will lead to better grades and nice future of a child,

Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

It is argued that providing more sports centres or health clubs would be the most effective method for improving public health. From my point of view, however, proper health education would be a better measure.

With Growing of traffic problems and air pollution should price of petrol be increased. Do you agree or disagree?

Traffic problems and air pollution are major effective sources reason, according to other people. Every person wants facilities and they don't have time due to hectic schedules or city side job. Hence all prefer to use own vehicle to reach timely. Here, I really disagree with increase the price of petrol. At the end, I conclude with the facts.

Colleges and universities often referred to educational, as well as skill-enhancement, hub. Students enrol in colleges in order to acquire knowledge, which enhances their future career prospects. However, there are other reasons why many attend colleges.

The responsibility of bringing up children should be shared equally between mother and father. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There’s a belief that both the parents should be equally responsible for the upbringing of a child. I completely agree with this view and discuss the arguments in its favour in this essay.

The crime rate nowadays is decreasing as compared to the past due to advanced technology which can prevent and solve crime. Do you agree or disagree.

One of the major functions of the government is to resolve criminal issues and provide peace to the citizens. The latest technology has provided methods to curb the crime, as a result, sharp decline has been observed in such cases as compared to that of the past. I completely agree with this view and strongly believe that the latest electronic gadgets have assisted police in tacking with the offenders.

The government should close companies that produce toxic waste materials without their own waste treatment facility in order to protect the environment. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The environment are being contaminated, when factories are letting their poisonous wastage, throw at any place. I believe that the government should take a strict action and should restrict them by banning these companies. This essay will discuss about, how a ban on such companies could improve the global environmental conditions and would have some health benefits also.

In some countries, health care and education are only partially funded by the government. Some people argue that the government should be responsible for covering the full cost of these services. Do you support or oppose the opinion? Explain your position.

The government in some countries spends only a few amounts of money on health care and education. I believe that the government should take care of all the funding required for the treatment of patients in hospitals and for covering the student's fees in schools. Some people cannot afford the hospital's and school's expense. Due to this, some people are dying and some children are not able to get the high-quality education.

Communication through text messaging and other instant forms of online communication are short and basic. Some people think this will be the death of grammar and spelling. Do you agree or disagree?

Owing to the fact which online messages and conversations are usually quite condensed and simple, some people think it would lead to the disappearance of grammar and spelling. In my point of view, I do not concur with this statement and this essay will further illustrate my opinion.

Social media is becoming increasingly popular amongst all age groups. However, sharing personal information on social media websites does have risks. Do you think that the advantages of social media outweigh the disadvantages.

The society has dramatically changed with the evolution of the internet. Nowadays, information media have become immensely common amongst all the age groups of society. People use information media to share their stuff with mutual friends and relatives. Sometimes, this information could be harmed or damaged by some people. Although there are some disadvantages of this development, I believe that it has more benefits than drawbacks.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for governments to impose a higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In recent years, there has been an increasing pattern of over consumption of fast food among people, which leads to serious health issues. This rise has resulted in a belief that if the government levies higher tax on such sort of food, it will reduce the problem. I argue that, although it is helpful, but that’s not the only solution to curb the issue.

Some people think that hardworking and determination are the key factors for being successful in life. Other people feel that other factors are important. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

People's opinions differ as to the main determinants of  success. While some opine that hard work and being focused are the major determinants, others believe that  some other things such as family background and destiny also determine to some extent, how successful one can be. In my opinion,  hard work and determination are highly necessary for a successful life, however,  family background and destiny also play contributory roles.

It is irrefutable that globalization is burgeoning at an exponential pace. There is a belief that sharing data regarding scientific research, the business and the academic is appreciable, whereas some opine that such data should not be shared as it might be of high value and importance. I completely believe that if the information is imperative and valuable then it should be classified. This essay intends to elucidate the worthwhile reasons behind both views with appropriate examples.

There is no doubt universities play a crucial role in educating society. However, while some believe that this education should be geared exclusively towards subjects that may be of practical use in the future, I would agree with those who argue that one’s choice of degree should lie with the student.

There is a view that a person’s culture and personality can be established simply by recognising the clothes they choose to wear. In my opinion, although one’s choice of clothing can tell us a little about these traits, we cannot learn a lot as appearances are only informative up to a point.

There is no doubt that technology has led to dramatic changes in society, by reshaping our social aspect. While some people state that this contributes to less social human beings, others oppose this notion. I agree with the former view.

If a product is sold and people buy it, then advertising is not necessary and can be considered a kind of entertainment. Do you agree or disagree with this?

Many people think that advertisement becomes necessary when a particular product is marketed and then bought by consumers. I completely disagree with this view and I believe that advertising is a great way to increase profit margins, raise brand awareness.
