It has been claimed that workers over 50 are not responsive to rapidly changing ideas in the modern workplace and that for this reason younger workers are to be preferred.

In recent years, digitization has had a significant impact on the way we perform
work
. It has been considered by some that elderly people are unable to adapt to the dynamic
work
environment.
However
, young people are more flexible and

should be considered.
This
essay will argue why senior employees aged 50 and above are of prime importance for the
company
.
Firstly
, due to advancements in the field of Science and technology the way we perform our
work
has been constantly changing. Young workers or fresh graduates are naturally more tech savvy and well versed about the latest updates and upcoming developments, which enables them to adapt easily.
Moreover
, since they are new at the
work
place, they
also
need to prove their efficiency by being more productive.
In addition
, these fresh graduates are not only creative in their approach but
also
can
work
for longer hours.
For instance
, SALCOM a firm in Japan prefers to hire fresh graduates as they are not only adaptive but
also
eager to explore options and willing to
work
out of their domain.
However

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
