Many people say that cooking and eating at home is better for the individual and the family than eating out In restaurants or canteens. Do you agree or disagree?

As
food
plays an important role in an individual’s life, having the right
food
at the right place is vital. Though some people enjoy eating in restaurants and canteens, majority prefers to cook and eat at homes, which is better for the individual and family. I completely agree with
this
view.
Firstly
, the meals prepared at home are hygienic and nutritious, which positively contributes to the individual health status of all family members. That means cooking in done with completely nutritious products, and they are methodically washed and well cooked which is good for our health. Because of
this
, stomach disorders and
food
poisoning could be prevented.
For example
, my family members are in good health for the past 15 years, as we continue to eat our mother’s cooking. Another benefit for the individual and family is that; the wastage of
food
is less at home, when comparing eating at a restaurant. Home preparations are done according to the number of family members and wastage is less, whereas it’s the opposite in an eating house. The
food
we order is sometimes excess and we tend to waste them easily.
This
also
makes us to spend more on
food
.
Accept space
.
A recent research indicates that 60%
food
is thrown away by Hotels in Sri Lanka
,
Accept space

Suggestion
compared
with only 10% in homes.
Therefore
, as mentioned above, though some people like to eat in restaurants and canteens, most people prefer to cook and eat in homes, which they consider is best for the individual and family as it is more hygienic and nutritious and less of
waste
