Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your answer.

The teaching method in the schools for primary students is a topic of debate and research these days, and constantly evolving. Whether reading alone should be used as a teaching method or some interesting
activity
should be combined to teach the charges, is a moot point. I personally believe that some productive
activity
should be used to teach the primary students for several reasons. Modern schooling has become an Industry in which new methods of teaching are introduced frequently. The conventional methodology of reading books only is getting obsolete with each passing day. The new concept, to do an

to perform various interesting activities, has several advantages.
Firstly
, reading a book is a monotonous

his interest in a short while. His ability to grasp new things gradually declines

Secondly

Finally
, it has been proved scientifically that reading involves only the sense of sight for learning while performing an

Thus, not
only reading takes more time to teach something than performing an
activity
but
also
the lessons are more volatile. To conclude, I would suggest that while reading can be a useful tool to learn new things, recent techniques of
activity
based learning should be introduced for improving the efficiency, creativity, cognitive
activity
and problem solving ability of a
