The youth in many countries are unemployed and unskilled, while at the same time, the military services are in need of people. Compulsory military service is beneficial and necessary. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is a view held that teenagers in many nations are without jobs and do not have any skills, while at the same time, the
army
requires new members.
Hence
, service in the military is helpful and mandatory.
Although
I disagree with the statement made, as laws that impose career choices do not go well with the public. Youth are considered to be the
next
generation of upcoming leaders. In every country, the prime focus is placed on
this
group of individuals. Since, they are mature enough to earn a livelihood, they become an asset. But, in comparison to the jobs available few young people match the skill set.
This
system of demand and supply usually pushes young citizens to do odd jobs.
For example
: robbery, drugs etc. Devoting one's life to the country is not an ideal occupation any person would choose. The decision to join the
army
requires strong mental and physical capability.
Furthermore
, pushing men to join the
army
, as a
last
resort will not make them pursue it as a profession. The risk of death has always engulfed family members of soldiers in the field.
For example
: the people of Syria are in a constant state of war and children are often dragged into the military. Even in Africa, young boys are stolen from their homes and sent to train rigorously in the
army
for battle. In conclusion, it is necessary to have the border of every nation p

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
