An increase in consumer goods has damaged our natural environment. Why is this the case? What are the solutions?

With the growth of goods production as demand has increased, there have been major damages to our surrounding
nature
. In
this
essay, I will explain two important causes of damaging the
environment
and offer solutions.
To begin
with, as stated above the increase in the goods production has damaged our
environment
for one important reason which is lack of
awareness
. It is shocking to see how much plastic materials have been dumped in rivers and oceans while people spend their time in the
nature
. I think
this
inappropriate disposal happens because of lack of
awareness
. People do not know how and why these plastics could influence either their life or
next
generation in the future. There was a study which showed that
materials

the materials
of

bottles
of water, which was
duped

dumped
in
oceans

the oceans
, have been entered

into
the fish food cycle that human feed on them.
Thus
, if people do not dispose materials appropriately, it will be themselves which be affected eventually. The only solution to
this
cause would be to increase people’s
awareness
through school, social media, and community centres. As well, the government increases funding to support
awareness
campaigns. The
next
reason for
this
damage is irresponsible industries which produced a large amount of wastes. It has been countless events and scandals which showed industries harmed to the
nature
. One recent news, which attracts many
people

peoples
attention, was about “Pepsi” company because of dumping wastes in the river in India.
Therefore
, our
environment
will be damaged more, if industries continue to behave irresponsible regarding the waste disposal. The solution for
this
could be governments’ restrictive rules. In
this
way, governments could increase their control on industries by new
environment
friendly rules. In conclusion, while people consuming more goods, which have damaged our
environment
, there should be
awareness
and new rules which support our
nature
and mitigate the causes for
this
problem.
