You would like to buy some electrical goods at a shop in a nearby town. Write a letter to the shop and ask if they have the things you want or whether they will be able to order them. Ask what the prices are and how long they will be able to hold the goods for you.
Dear
Mr.
Awad,
As per our earlier encounter when we bumped into each other, I am in the process of renovating my cabin near the lake and I was wondering if the following list of electrical stuff is available at your store. I will be needing twenty LED spots, two hundred feet long electrical Change the punctuation

, if these are not within your shop’s stock, I highly appreciate if

Finally
, I would like you to mail me the price list of all these items just to have an idea of how much this

is because, if the prices, including the shipping cost, will be high and over my estimated budget, I will be asking you to hold the goods for me for the amount of time that the store policy dictates so the amount of money is arranged.
Thanks in advance for your prompt support and waiting for your feedback.

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
