A letter to your friend travelling overseas. You are staying at their apartment and there was a storm. Tell your friend about the storm. Tell them what got damaged Details what repairs to be done.

Dear Jane, How's everything with you and hope you're enjoying your stay in your new city? I'm writing to let you know about a huge storm that destroyed the rooftop
last
night.
Last
night, there was a heavy rainfall in the city for approximately 5 hours.
This
storm affected many houses and apartment, mostly on your street. Your place was one of the affected ones. The storm slightly blew open the roof top of your apartment and
as a result
, the apartment is flooded.
Also
, it damaged the fence as well as the plumbing. I spent the midnight scooping water from the house because my room was flooded as well, so I couldn’t sleep. Currently, the flat is uninhabitable and
therefore
, repairs are needed, most especially the roof and plumbing.
In addition
, new water pipes need to be bought,
although
there are some leftovers from the
last
time repairs were done in the house. I've contacted the contractor and he's promised to come
this
afternoon. I really hope
this
gets repaired on time. Enjoy the rest of your trip! Love, Ay.
