There are a variety of reasons why scientists experiment with animals ranging from cosmetic to behavioural and pharmaceutical. I believe that some of these are easier to justify than others but there are also alternatives to animal testing that need to be developed further.

Some people stated that people's lifespan is getting longer, and the age of retirement should be substantially raised. This author disagrees with the statement because the elderly need more resting time for their pastimes and fundamentally their children and family, not only that, but also to avoid sickness in workplaces to extend their own life expectancy.

Medicine is a field which has lots of fascinating and impressive ways of studying it with a well-balanced relationship among natural, formal and social sciences. From a very early age, this aroused my interest and prompted me to study not only the structure of the human body and physiology but also the mechanisms of pathogenesis with their respective treatments. I studied for my Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Medical Science (Medical Doctor, MD) at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia. Nowadays, having wide experience in both clinical and research fields related to healthcare using analytical methods as well as evidence-based medicine techniques.
