Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Madhav, and I am writing
this
with reference to the advertisement that you have given in a magazine.
I was excited to know about the babysitter opportunity as I was looking for such
a job. I would be interested in this
role because I like being with kids, and I will be impressed by their innocence and spending time with them, along with teaching them something interesting, and their creativity always intrigues me.
I would consider myself as a perfect fit for this
role because, in the past, I worked at a Correct your spelling
daycare
day care
school in my home country where I used to take care of a few children, and I was awarded as the best teacher.
During my time here in Australia for the Correct your spelling

next
half year, I would take care of your child, and in my free time, I can explore the beautiful picturesqueness of this
country.
I am looking forward to a positive response from you.
Yours faithfully,

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
