the media shouls limit how much bad news they report because it discourages people from doing activities which usually involve very little risk. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, it seems that an overwhelming majority of media coverage focuses on the famous peoples' lives, especially the ones in sports and entertaining industry. Some people hold the idea that
this
trend should be changed and more attention should be paid to the common people from the media. From my point of view,
however
,
such
a shift in media focus would not make a lot of sense.
First
and foremost, it seems quite normal for celebrities attract public attention because people tend to look for a model to follow their lives. Famous people have one great advantage over the common crowd in
this
aspect because they are special either in terms of appearances, talent or merit. For
this
reason, the mass media producer can be sure about the profit they will earn reporting on broadcasting about contemporary significant figures as viewers are more willing to pay to hear about them. Another reason to support the focus of media on celebrities is that their lifestyles, images and actions are more inspirational. The glamorous life of a famous soccer can certainly help boys to set bigger dreams than that of an accountant who rarely has something exciting to talk about their daily routine
