The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The two maps illustrate the differences between the Grange Park in 1920 and the one in the present. Overall, in 1920, there were rose gardens, stage for musicians, fountain, pond, and glasshouse. In the present, there are many more constructions which are recently added: cafe, children’s play area, and an amphitheatre. In 1920, the lawn only had two entrances. The northern one was on Arnold Avenue and the southern one on the Eldon Street.
However
, in the present day, beside the two entrances, people can
also
 access the place by the entrance to the car park, which is underground.
Additionally
, the fountain, which was in the central location of the park in 1920, has been replaced by a square rose garden. In the past, it was a stage for musicians that was on the left side of the Grange Park.

 stage has been supplanted for an amphitheatre for concerts.
Besides
, a water feature has replaced a glass house on the southeast of the map.
